They help facilitate the validations of transactions and create new blocks in the blockchain. • Example 1: Think of collators as cashiers in a supermarket. Only a certain number of cashiers (collators) can be active at a time. Right now, we have room for 72 cashiers, but we have more who want to help. This proposal is like opening 4 more cashier lanes. Why is this Important? 🤝More collators mean more people can participate in running and securing our network. 🎁It helps to avoid situations where community members (delegators) miss out on rewards because their chosen collator is not in the active set. 🌐It’s a step towards making the network more open and accessible, especially for smaller participants.
