🚀 Prime Protocol is now live on Moonbeam! As the first natively cross-chain prime brokerage, Prime Protocol enables DeFi users to borrow against assets on any supported chain without token bridges, swaps, or wrapping✨
This is BIG. Starting today, Prime’s model of interoperability via connected contracts overcomes a major hurdle in DeFi, where existing infrastructure only supports a single blockchain often backed by a single collateral type. Prime provides access to a number of blockchains & assets as well as a never-before-seen feature: “Universal Access” which allows users to originate txs on any supported chain using assets they currently own for gas.
With this initial launch, Prime features support for Ethereum, Moonbeam, and Arbitrum using Axelar’s General Message Passing infrastructure for interchain communication.
