🗳️ Refendum 19 is up to vote! If passed, this batched proposal will accept/open an HRMP channel with Mangata Network and register MGX as an XC-20 asset via the Whitelist track. This will establish a bi-directional channel between Mangata and Moonriver and allow for cross-chain MOVR/MGX token transfers.

This is the first XCM integration to be voted on via OpenGov and, in true canary net fashion, provides a blueprint for once OpenGov is passed on Moonbeam. Referenda 16 and 4 passed but failed to enact. Thanks to the work of the PureStake team, a new tool has been developed on top of Chopsticks that enables the team to test OpenGov proposals in real network conditions to ensure successful enactments.
